Angels

I realized I haven't been posting really (winter blues), but it's spring now so I want to be a better blogger.  Anyway this post is in honor of my friend Maya because she said lately she's been reading nothing but angel books so I'm going to post some of the books she's read recently and give a mini review for one's I've read.

Angels

Unearthly by Cynthia Hand-
In the beginning, there's a boy standing in the trees . . . .
Clara Gardner has recently learned that she's part angel. Having angel blood run through her veins not only makes her smarter, stronger, and faster than humans (a word, she realizes, that no longer applies to her), but it means she has a purpose, something she was put on this earth to do. Figuring out what that is, though, isn't easy.
Her visions of a raging forest fire and an alluring stranger lead her to a new school in a new town. When she meets Christian, who turns out to be the boy of her dreams (literally), everything seems to fall into place—and out of place at the same time. Because there's another guy, Tucker, who appeals to Clara's less angelic side.
As Clara tries to find her way in a world she no longer understands, she encounters unseen dangers and choices she never thought she'd have to make—between honesty and deceit, love and duty, good and evil. When the fire from her vision finally ignites, will Clara be ready to face her destiny?
Unearthly is a moving tale of love and fate, and the struggle between following the rules and following your heart.  From Barnes&Noble.com

Halo by Alexandra Adornetto                                                                -  Three angels- Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, the youngest and most human- are sent by Heaven to bring good to a world falling under the influence of darkness. The angel’s mission is urgent, and dark forces are threatening. Will love ruin Bethany or save her? From Goodreads.com

Coffehouse Angel by Suzanne Selfors

This one I've actually read, and I loved it.  It's a cute little chick-lit that is fun to read and very quick.  Go pick this one up and if your disapointed you get your money back!  (If you go to the library).

So there's my angel list.  I know there are a lot more good angel books out there.  These were just some my friend was reading, but if you can think of anymore please leave a comment with the title and description of book and I'll add it to my list.  (where that list will be I don't know).  Thx.  Oh, and this list has something for everyone so look through them and see which one you'll think you'll like.
