Understanding People

One of the main things I think about is how people will react to certain things.  I try to get inside their heads, and dissect what they're thinking as if they were a character in a book.  Something that's been on my mind lately is that some people have set opinions, and it takes something pretty big to get them to think differently.
The people I mainly think about is sporty people.  I recently discovered that most of them are don't think terrible things about people all the time.  Yet everyone has those opinionated ideas.  One of these peoples told me, "it should be a law that everyone has to do one sport", she was joking, but she had mentioned that before.  I have a million arguments against that because I have no athletic talent, but this person is my friend so I don't want to start an argument.
This made me wonder.  Do all people have ideas that they are stuck on?  I know I have a lot, mainly about religious things, but some are...less...mature.  What do you think about it?  Have you noticed this too?

P.S. I just discovered spell check on this thing!!

Read Your Name Challenge

I saw all these challenges on other blogs, and I'm like, Hey I wanna do that! :(.  I just had to do one but they were all like tweleve books, and I didn't want to do that between all my other books.  Then I found this one!
This challenge is when you take a name, I'm going to use my name, and read a book for each letter.  I thought, Hey!, that's only six books!  I could get that done, and still read other things!  So now...the challenge begins.

September Theme

I know that September ends in two days, but I already had this all planned out so I just thought I'd post it!  I made this because I got a Twilight calender at the beginning of the year, and now I can't stand Twilight so I decided to write something and stick it on Edward's face!  Here it is.
Crude Copy- September

I'm in the "crude copy" stage.
Everything I do could one day be better,
than now.
My drawings will one day be art,
my writing will one day be published.
But isn't everything a crude copy?
People are a crude copy of God.
Kids are crude copies of their parents,
one day to become themselves.
So everything is a crude copy.
But being crude is what makes it
beautiful.
What makes it
human.

I also drew a rose to go with it.  Maybe I'll post a pic.

Hello!

Hey everybody! I just want to use my first post to tell you what you can expect from this blog.  I am a YA reader, but do sometimes read adult books. I may be young, but I know good writing when I see it.  My teachers describe me as insightful so you won't be disappointed.
One of the features I'm planning to do is a message of the month thing.  I explain this feature later.
Forewarning I'm an awful speller so please just ignore any errors.  I would love to hear your voice.  If you have any suggestions or just want to say hi go ahead.  Thank you for taking the time to look at this blog!
